Indeed. What stefan's described is not what I wanted (though it's certainly true). What Roger's described is what I believed the description I quoted meant, but it doesn't work like that as far as I can tell. Unless I make the BC6 videomaster and the BV7 the link, I can't listen to the DAB radio on the BV7. And I'd never set
-
Just did a quick test - if I swap the Video master's around (BC6 becomes 2, BV7 becomes 6), then it does actually work. But then I can't watch Sky, DVD etc on the BC6. Bah. So I can't have it both ways, I need to buy an audio master.
-
It sounds good if it could - but how would you do this? As far as I can see in the Service menu, the BC6 only has one option setting, which is currently 6 as it's connected to a BV7.

Hi guys This is written in the product description which, if I remember, is the exact one lifted from B&O's website. "BeoCenter 6 can also be used as an ‘audio link master’ that lets you access the radio function from other rooms, if linked to a pair of BeoLab speakers." http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=740

For PS3 control, check out www.re-bl.com There is a specific RE-BL PUC that can be added to the TV by your dealer. As this is an IR/Bluetooth converter, it can turn the PS3 on and off. The newer version can be connected to the PUC output simply with a 3.5mm stereo jack cable - no need for the IR blaster to stick on the front.

I think the point is that CAT5/6 might work over small distances for ML/PL, but over greater distances and for future HD video usage, CAT5/6 will likely prove inadequate. If you had the opportunity to rewire your house, you'd be daft not to use CAT7 if you had any intention of sticking with B&O.

Not convinced by 'no' midrange. The frequency response curves show they're more or less totally flat, apart from a rise above 10kHz - so the treble is a bit strong. I think I notice the supposed 'lack of midrange' only on badly produced CDs. A lot of modern stuff is produced with a huge 'smile' EQ curve to push up the treble
Are they then going to make recommendations about which Ethernet switch these all connect to centrally? 10-Gig / Gig / Fast / Eth? all full wire switching speed? etc, etc
At the moment, you're using the cable in place of ML/PL, so while they're using Ethernet-standard cables, it's not using Ethernet

Ah, ok, I understand you now! Definitely sounds like a Sky problem, but the fact it's happened on two boxes is a bit odd! Best thing to do is have a bit of a play. Things to try, if possible, are: 1. disable the PUC (in connections, just say it's some unknown box rather than Sky) and try it with the Sky remote only - should stop any possible

Hi The Wii component cable has 5 RCAs - 3 for component video, and 2 for L+R audio. As far as I can see, AV2 and AV3 have component + SPDI/F + scart, and only AV1 has L+R RCA. Do I need a SCART->RCA converter and plug it in that way, or do you have any other ideas?
