on the good speaker im getting 6v (i think) between brown and blue(??) at the plug that conects to the rear circuit board for the display but on the faulty one im getting 0.1v, so next guess would be a resistor maybe?
I have no idea of the colours of the wiring, but the DIN connectors are numbered as they always
True, but FM is due to be switched off in the near future
Perhaps somewhere, but globally this is simply not going to happen. Anyway, this product could have been easily been launched including FM. Technically it would have been cheap and easy, the only problem being the physical user interface it would've

In Pentas, the displays work completely independently from the amplifier part (they share the same mains transformer, but really nothing else). The displays are also powered on (technically, not visibly) all the time while the speaker is plugged into mains. There's a separate 40 mA mains fuse, but that circuit also powers the standby part of the

The listing was 95% obviously a scam, and has now gone. Look up the endless "Geloof je dit?" thread on the Dutch forum if you want to see more of them.

All Beolab 8000s, old and new, have only one Powerlink connector (there's really no room for another in the connector bay), so you can't directly daisy chain them. But you can get a Powerlink Y adapter / splitter that allows you to do the same thing externally behind the speaker. Both Sounds Heavenly and a B&O dealer should be able to help

I like the high contrast design with black and white more... and I think I read somewhere (was it in the financial report?) that B&O is about to find out how to make white aluminum! The shape is beautiful and very much like what B&O might have done, right down to the moving parts.
It's really hard to find remolade and salty licorice other places than in Denmark.
Except every shop & kiosk in Finland. Not often that particular brand, but there's certainly no shortage The local vodka with it needs to be bought in the official alcohol stores, though...

Aah, salmiakki - the good stuff! I couldn't imagine living without it! Merry Christmas Søren Regarding the Christmas calendar, it's nice that most Decembers have days 1-24, so it should still be useful
I have the service manual but it does not have a full schematic. I don't think anyone has a FULL schematic for this TT.
The same place where you found that document, which is stolen from this site, probably hosts other service manuals stolen from this site as well, so look for 4002 too. The 4004 is very similar
I do get a triangular type 3.975MHz signal from the oscillator (on one side, the other side was 5v I think). It isn't a nice, perfect triangle wave. I'll try and get a picture of it from the oscilloscope.
Never mind the waveform over there - coming directly off the crystal, it won't be a clean signal
