Spoken like a true salesman.
Indeed! I'd like to hope that I shouldn't need to sell my BeoSystem 3 that isn't even a year and a half old yet. I'd certainly be willing to pay $1,000 to $2,000 for servicing to upgrade the HDMI 1.1 to HDMI 1.4, though.

Does anyone know if the current BeoSystem 3 will be upgradeable to 3D or will it be necessary to buy the new BeoSystem 3 3D? It would seem that the big obstacle is the lack of HDMI 1.4.

Interestingly, the FAQ on the BeoSound 5 on the B&O website mentions transferring podcasts to the BeoMaster 5. I haven't tried this, though.
As I understand correctly: The Beosound 5 finally get's AUX IN functionality via USB-Audiointerface? That's great news! Could you use any USB-Audiointerface?
Wouldn't it be great if we could have a USB to DIN connector and have the BeoSound 5 send datalink commands to a BeoGram or BeoCord? I know that's
To get a 2 way experience I would need a device to send and receive signals from eg an IOS device; any ideas how this problem is/would be solved? Do I have to buy a W-LAN stick - and try to get it run on windows (!!!!!)? I don't thinks that there is already something installed within the BM5 waiting only to be activated
thanks for help!!! I wonder if I use a DVI to VGA connector on my BS3, and then connect the BV4 via VGA, it will work? This will be a temporary solution till I find the parts! thanks
You might want to google and take at look at the HDFury. I use one to connect my BeoSystem 3 to my Sim2 projector, which has

I'm encountering a similar situation with my BeoVision 4. If you look at the underside of the screen, you'll see that there are several "slots." Each slot can accommodate a different type of input. For example, you probably have at least a VGA slot and a component slot right now. The unused ones are covered by plates. You need to determine

The "handles" to which you refer are actually the brackets which have been connected to the BeoCenter 2300 for wall mounting. They connect to a metal plate that you install on the wall. Even with the BeoCenter 2300 not wall mounted, I like having the brackets on it to use as handles for easier transport.

Go for it, you can even have a local pickup, no need for sending it by mail.
I did. I went there yesterday evening and bought it. Turned out that the fellow who sold it was as big a B&O-geek as any of us. In his living room I saw a pair of Beolab 5000, a pair of Beolab 3000
