After removing the 3 screws nothing happens, how to proceed with opening this remote?

Thinking about buying one of these sliding door-systems (second hand), are there any arguments in favor of the 2300 or 3000? I read something about cheap plastics used, did these materials upgrade over time in the 3000? Any differences in sound or quality of the CD player used? George

The poweramp of the BC9300 the same as BC9500? That would surprise me as the spec's show a frequency range from 70 Hz upwards compared to 50 Hz in case of the 9500. My experience is that the 9500 sounds way different and beter than the 9300 (with beovoxes that is).

As the amplifiers are build-in in the beolab range loudspeakers, how to interpret the (high) watt counts if you want to compare them with the traditional amplifiers? (measured in RMS) For instance beolab 9 -> 700 Watt?? Beolab 5 -> 2500 watt..

Ehh. just tested another (known 100% working) CDX on the same beocenter 9300 and: same result.(sound at only one speaker) so it's the 9300 aux that is at fault. Also connected both machines to a beocenter 9500 and both worked well what confirmed the diagnosis. However, pulling the white/black(L) RCA connector apart while playing a CD doesn't

Just bought a beogram CDX. Discovered that it just sounds at one speaker. Anyone an idea of this being a relatively simple reparation or is it a total-loss?

As the 9300 is younger than the 9500 I listened to, in this case aging isn't the problem I think. Therefore I would rather not sell the 9300, it's just looking like new. But the musicality of the CD player doesn't convince me, the radio-section sounds good so the difference in sound must be up to the CD section. About the DAC's; can

I wonder if the cd players used in the various beosounds/centers are in fact the same; my beocenter 9300 has specifications that are exactly those of the beosound 9000 and beosound 3000/3200. Only beosound 4 and beocenter 2 are different; because they're newer/more recent? The reason I'd like to know is, that I think the sound of the CD player
