That is true, but the image reproduction on BangVisions using VisionClear technology has been designed so the image at the very front of the screen - say for example a person walking is far clearer and focused and the scenery behind that person is slightly less focused. This and good use of contrast and colour give a almost 3d image to the picture quality

They are just placing a better chassis and changing LCD supplier to Sharp as per BV8.

Bang has always had a three dimensional picture with a quality exceeding most other manufacturers, so i think they have kept up quite well personally. Regarding BangVision 7 MK1 (which appear to be being harshly critisised), at the time of release had a far better picture than any other LCD and in cases still does. I would like to see what the term

You could say that has been the case with all manufacturers of LCD / Plasma technology. The change has been dramatic in picture quality as engineers / LCD technology have developed the product. I totally agree with the fact that an excuse to drive down the costs on such a Luxury brand has been introduced. Bang owns a company that specialises in wood (AV5/Avant/ BV5/BV9 frames) and furtniture etc - so I personally think its a flakey excuse. The Loewe tellys do look good I hate to admit and the picture is getting much better, infact they are

Set aside £1k each for repairs. Each of the discs will have to be replaced and the cloth shell replaced also. These are repairable as I have damaged.... some in the past too.....by accident though and it nearly did make me cry...

Unfortuantly shortly is all I can commit to. Its a loose term, as im not too good at fortelling the future. The BangVision 7- 52 is in the pipelne and is being pushed through, for many reasons, including the important US consumer base. March 2009 for Sony BR is pretty accurate. Im usure whether the 52 will have the option of no DVD - pretty sure it

Watch this space. There are very real changes happening in Struer presently. The new CEO is very focused on the technical aspect of the products. There will be real streamlining on products going forward - utilising better use of platforms which will enable better technologies to be implemented and faster. It will also enable technologies to be cheaper
