I have my ATV from composite to scart (decoder) on my 4-42. Works perfectly and also did make ATV learn a remote that was included in my Set Top box. Now it is hidden in the cabinet and controlled by Beo4!

Yes there should be no problem in using it. There are two pl outputs on the BM4500. One issue though, should be the type of pl cable to use but I'm not sure about this
