Hans, only the newer audio systems support the NMusic (PC) function. Systems like Beosound 4 and Beocenter 2. With your B&O products it is not possible to distribute NMusic. You can download the manual and software updates for Beoport (the new name for Beolink PC2) from the B&O website. Piet

OKF, you can read more about version 1.30 at the Beo5 remote forum, topic Beo 5 configsw 1.30a out now When you going to upgrade, be sure you have version 1.34 of the firmware files (software tool remains 1.30). There is a bug in the firmware 1.30 and 1.32.

You need the Beo5CT.exe.config and the files from the firmware directory. Thats all. Put the files on your PC (overwrite the existing files) and start the serialization. The new firmware will be loaded.

Yes doc, it can. I think that when the serialisation proces is started the program wil compare the firmware level in the BEO5 with the level described in de Beo5CT.exe.config. If it is not the same then the firmware files from the PC are transferred to the BEO5. This is my guess how it works. Piet

If the firmware is not downloaded to the firmware directory, than we have a problem to get it. If so, the dealer cannot do updates offline (at the customers site with his laptop). Piet

Besides the firmware directory I think the Beo5ct.exe.config, both serialize files and maby the Beo5ct.xmlserializers.dll What would help is a directory listing of the ../Bang & olufsen/Beo5 configuration tool and the firmware directory from someone who has firmware 1.34 installed (with filenames, size and time stamp). Trask, out of the box the BEO5 is empty. I can't do anything. I has to be programmed by your dealer. The software to program it is not included and cannot be downloaded or bought. Piet
