I can see your point, but isn't the whole idea behind Serenata that you just download the music to the unit, then take it all wherever you go? It then becomes a portable music system, not a portable speaker. Fair enough, 4GB may not be enough for you, but it is for most people (that's about 1000 tracks - when does anyone have enough time to

I threw one in a skip today, followed closely by a red 28" Curved Avant which had sat outside the office all summer. Very sad, but amusing as the LS was on a castor stand, and we're on a hill....

You won't experience any problems with BeoPort and Vista - they run fine! It's BeoPlayer that causes problems - Bang & Olufsen are currently developing a new version to run seamlessly alongside Vista. In the meantime you'll just need to add the BeoSound 2 as a "portable device", and drag and drop tracks to it!
