If I recall...wasn't their a rash of fake beovision's being sold from China a couple of years ago? So, how does one now distinguish if buying a a second hand beovision, if it was one of the fakes! How many of these were sold, and how lousy it must have been for the unaware purchaser! Guy

Today I decided I would like a cordless phone. So I looked for a second hand Beocom 5000 (simple, affordable). I looked in Ebay USA, Canada, UK, and Germany. NOTHING! Not one listing, even in ended auctions. So...where are all the Beocom 5000's? Are they such a coveted phone that owners are holding onto them? Guy

Thanks Iggy! I was not pressing sound 1 store! I also looked on your website and it says if you push shift+radio it opens the AUX connection. It works! However, it does not work when I press link+shift+radio, OR av+shift+radio. Is this because I don't see the sticker marked Beolink? Is that part still available, and is it something I can intall

Hi all, is there a way to hook up both vx5000 and dvd1 to an mx 5000 so that both receive commands through the tv? I'm guessing this is through the scart connection...I still have v tapes that I watch, and luckily my vx5000 is still co-operating! Any ideas? Thanks! Guy

Hi! Will a beolink 5000 remote work with a Beosound 2000/Century? What about an MX 5000. I think I remember reading here that you "update" your MX 5000 to an MX 5500 with a simple component change. Is that component still available, and does it have a part #? Any thoughts? Guy
