I intended to have a main room Avant, and a link room MX3500, connected by a converter. However, the Configuration Guide states that I won't be able to control the STB on the Avant from the MX3500. Is this correct? It rather defeats the purpose of linking the devices. Mark

I would like to install four Masterlink wall sockets. Ideally, each of these would have an F connector on the same unit, since I use these for aerial connection. I such a device available? If so, where would I get them from? I'm in the UK, but happy to order from overseas. An alternative might be to buy one of those Masterlink wall sockets which

I don't know who would do this for you. I suggested it, because I came across someone selling his Avant in pieces on eBay a while ago. This might be too much trouble, though. The pieces which seem the most popular are the set top box controller, and the DTS card. However, your TV may not have these. Mark

Unfortunately, the tube of an Avant is the one thing we can't repair! They're also hard + expensive to change. You may want to "break" the unit and sell the parts. Mark

What's the model number? Should be on a label on the back, and looks something like "84/23". Mark

Thanks guys - but I'd seen that diagram. What I was trying to establish is whether that is the "normal" diagram, or the "AV9000" diagram. I also don't want to go and buy an normal cable if I need a special AV9000 one. Where I'm trying to get to is to work out what I need to do in order to make an AV9000 audio kit work
