• Beo5 dead

My Beo 5 seems to be dead. The screen is black and it does not transmit nor give any indication that it is active. It's been sitting happily on it's cradle for about a month ( I've been traveling) and was working fine when I left it there. It doesn't activate when either charging or connected to the configurator. I'm running the

  • Re: Beolab3 and Apogee Duet

Usually when I've had any hum in my BL3s it's been cable related. That's not to say that it couldn't be the DAC. "An Ending" was playing in my car the other day with my five year old. He normally hates my varied musical taste and insists on the silly "kids" music that somehow finds it's way into our house. He was real quiet for a long time and then said "Daddy, I like this music." I was so proud that I told his mother when we

Ridley Scott's Black Rain Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. Rare Genre defining. Composer defining. Cool as hell... and probably the best programing ever by Hans back when he was still using a Fairlight CMI to compose on.

  • Re: How many Remotes??!!

4 beo4s 1 beo5 for 4 rooms. From reading the posts I'd say that I'm the average (five remotes).
You were both participants in this thread.
I think you are just experiencing a keen sense of déjà vu . In fact so are the other people posting in this thread. We are not really here... It's all a conspiracy... We are all LOST in... BeoTime!
The wake up chime sound a little harsh as you can hear in this (german) video:
I'm pretty sure that harshness is just the video guy cranking the mic gain a little too high and then moving the camera mic too close to the alarm which resulted in the harsh bell sound. it also sounds like the chime got louder with

  • Re: beotime - on time ?

It looks much nicer and practical "in person" than the static publicity shots. The interface looks pretty slick considering the constraints of the displays. It's difficult to know if it will end up being a GREAT product but someone definitely put a whole lot of work into it. I'll get one.

Where is the Post I did this morning? It said it was being moderated when I submitted it but should I repost? I'd hate to have to re-think everything I wrote in it.
