hi, i'm more of a technology "user" than a technology "builder", but i thought i would try my luck with a little question on this forum... i have a non-supported set-top box (a freebox from france, if you are curious). it seems that it should be possible to capture the codes and load them into the b&o stb module. has anyone

hi tux, quelqu'un m'a dit par pm il y a 6 semaines qu'un freebox était 'parti' chez b&o pour qu'il regarde enfin son intégration dans les codes du stb. ceci dit, j'ai du mal à imaginer que b&o nous laisse exploiter la totalité des fonctions freebox car ça rendra la beomedia quasiment

my two cents, the format war had better get moving. i get more and more of my hd content in electronic (and even streaming) format. if the majors don't get things decided, the business model could change to bypass the physical media altogether ! - scott

hi, thanks again for the information tom. yes it seems that the youngest subdirectory copied to the card becomes folder 1. however, the songs do not seem to be played in alphabetical order. i took the time to put numbers in their titles so that they would sort 'correctly'. however, the beosound 3 plays the file "013 go" as file number

hi, ok. i tried the a-m delete method and it effectively turns off the random mode. thanks for the heads up. the problem i'm having is a little stranger. i can't figure out how the beosound 3 attributes track 1 of a subdirectory to a given file on the sd card. as i said, i have numbered the tracks like "001 the passion" to assure that

hi, i am the proud owner of the beosound 3 which i have equipped with a 2go sd card. i plan on using the beosound 3 for a small party and have constructed a 'playlist' in a single subdirectory on the sd card. i assumed the songs were played in alphabetical order, so i painstakingly number the tracks in the order i wished them to play. however
