It could be that the WMA file contains some kind of Digital Rights Management... A lot of devices can't play DRM "infected" files...

From experience: more complaints with a BL2 then with a BL11 :-)

I don't see a use of a BL11 with BL1's.. as both go as deep. If you want more punsh for your BL1's then the BL2 is the only way to go.
