  • BV7 Upgrade History?

Hi, Could anyone tell me what the upgrades have been on the BV7 through it's years? I'm thinking of buying one and with the new version not with us yet I'm thinking that a pre owned version might be a better buy. Would an older version which has the HD software fitted be as good as a 2007 model?

Thanks Tom, I visited my B&O dealer this morning to take a look at the BV7. I like the look of it and your right the 7.1 did sound very deep and purposefull. They put Pirates Of The Caribbean on and it sounded great for one speaker. I have no TV in the room at the moment so its hard to wait for the upgraded version to arrive. We shall see.....

Flappo The Grate: personally , i'd leave the speaker off as it's the only thing that upsets the design and use some beolab 6ks etc as left and right audio Yes I think you are right. The 7.1 underneath is not great looking. If I did use Beolab 6's as left and right speakers would it sound ok when I watch documentries or programmes with alot

  • Possible BV7 purchase.

Well after derliberating about which TV to buy for our second lounge I have decided on a BV7 with a 7.1 speaker.I have read some threads about the film mode being useless and that it should be switched off, but is this the only bad point about the TV? What do our fellow members who own a BV7 realy think about it? Is it a good TV and is it worth the

Thanks for the input gents. I think the 32" BV7 would be ideal, although the DVD is a waste on it for me because this TV would be connected to my Avant DVD. I wish B&O would make a BV6 in a larger size. Thanks, David.

We have a 32"Avant in our main room which is the hub of our B&O equipment. The plasma screen will be for a second lounge for the kids. This room measures 11ft across but the viewing distance is around 10ft not 8ft as previously mentioned. The TV has to be wall mounted hence a plasma or LCD. We already have a 22" BV6 in the kitchen which

  • Beovision 4.Which size?

Hi, I'm currently looking at purchasing a used or new BV4. The question I have is which size is best for my room. This would be my first panel TV. The distance between me when sat on the sofa and the front of the panel would be around the 8ft mark. Would you go for a 42 or a 50 BV4? Some advice from BV4 owners would be most helpfull. Cheers.
