In the 3D thread I suggested starting a thread about what's your favourite film. So I'm following it through - what is your favourite film and is it on DVD/VHS and in SD/HD/3D? Mine is probably Copycat because I love Sigorney Weavers flat with two BS Centurys and is on VHS/DVD WS, next would be all of Amodovar Pedrova's films in SD/VHS/DVD

I have to say that I think its more appropriate for a projector which is something I am considering as a way of saving/complementing my ageing avant 32 - but then again how much of what is produced is worthy of the content. Just how much use are these TVs going to get?. How many of us still listen to Vinyl and marvel at the analogue sound compared to

Hi thanks - it is odd but I am glad that its not just mine - thing is that the picture and sound is so good when its working normally - its just that as a link TV I don't think Avants are that good, I guess now that they're so cheap on the second hand market this problem will show itself more. I've resolved the problem in a way by turning

I would check the position of the remote sensor as I had this problem with my SKy+ - on the samsung I think it's underneath the card slot but on makes to the left of teh slots - maybe look up on the internet as others will have had this problem. RF Modulator is set to on on the 32 and the picture in the kitchen is fine and stable Picture on the 28 in my bedroom breaks up significantly in the first 5 minutes - as if it's out of tune and then settles down and is clear - any ideas

Wow - this looks really good, what type of paint stripper did you use? I have a Beogram TX turntable (american model) with what looks like the same type of grey paint as the BM3500 - does anyone know if stripping back that panel would result in it looking more like BG6000 range, which I think looks much better with the stainless steel top, but i like

You need to connect your sky+ box to one of the scart sockets on the back and then set that through the sources menue to SAT and then choose SKY+ from the list - fix the eye to the sky box and then you will be able to control SKY+ thouigh your Beo4 - I have this setup and it integrates perfectly

I had a friend who kept doing this with my Sky box linked to an avant - turned out he was holding down go for too long - needs to be two presses quite quickly and pointing at the TV. One long press of go causes the last thing played to resume or goto planner if it has been deleted.

I read once, not sure where, that whilst the insides may be Philips and other manufacturers, that B&O picks the cream of the panels and in the past screens - perhaps they specify higher tollerances for components than other manufacturers and this is where the cost comes in. It would also explain why B&O equipment lasts so long with very little
