  • Re: Installation Charges

Keith Saunders: Installations completed by B&O dealers vary a lot depending on several factors including:- How much you are spending on the products If the dealer contracts out some of the installation. If they have their own full time installation team Also, where the product installation requires building/decorating work where they project manage

  • Re: New Store???

shadowline: That's correct with the new owner, but it is replacing the previous store in Macclesfield, and today just recieved a letter from Bang & Olufsen UK confirming this. But yes we wish Andrew and team all the very best. Indeed - Andrew is one of the good guys, so he deserves the best of luck. Wilmslow is central to the shopping of the

  • Re: Beosound 9000 doesn't work...

Mmmm..... I would like to think that most dealers would, on receiving a phone call such as yours, actually talk you through the most likely fixes before mentioning any charges. Bsnd 9000 service calls are relatively rare, and I the majority are either in need of cleaning (a by-product of the relatively open design for the lens, and the dusty sensor

  • Re: My five new toys....................by Andy T.

Jandyt: The third one of the five is this 1987 Beomaster 3000. The reason I chose this is because it can be mounted on the wall. It has a couple of minor marks on it, but nothing too bad. It is in perfect working order, and I have spent the whole day today, mounting it above my PC. I have connected my Beoport to it and a pair of Redline 45s At the moment

  • Re: Start of a compatibility matrix for beocom handsets versus base stations

Wait....whats this - a compatibility matrix, by type number !!! Also - there is a nifty little kit - see Keith Saunders various threads - that allows MkII functionality and keypad layout to be added to MK1 handsets, but retaining the older style chargers - a good way to update a couple of old Bcom handsets with a new Beoline and new handsets. Hope this

  • Re: King Street Birthday celebration.....................with photographs.

Anyone living in the North West who came along and enjoyed Martin Simpson ( or anyone who didn't for that matter ) may be interested to know he is playing nearby, at Bury Met , next Thursday. The Met is a fine venue, and only a couple of minutes from the M60. http://themet.biz/diary/?id=marti1213902000 Accompanied by Andy Cutting so this will be

  • Re: new keypad rubber for a beolink 1000

Jandyt: In which case, Tony the part number is 3281044 Andy T. Sorry to disagree with Andy ( had to be a first time !! ) but the part number for a later version button set is actualy 2776010. 3281044 is no longer in use. On a related note, Denmark revised ( up and down ) the spare parts prices on 1st June, so anyone needing "bits" should be

  • Re: Beovision 7 DVB-T Module

Correct - the dvbt module occupies the DTV command. Ideally a Beo5 is used in this set up, so you're not using a digibox via V.Aux all the time, which involves the list button. Regards David

  • Re: New Vinyl LP's

In early May, I bought a new vinyl LP which was my first "new" LP for over a year, although there is such a massive supply of used LP's that its a great time to get your back catalogue topped up via ebay etc. Its by UK singer Chris Wood called Tresspaser - the special edition vinyl version comes in a triple gatefold sleeve, with his previous
