Noticed two problems on the BeoSound 5 at my local dealer. There are some dead pixels on the LCD and dust has gathered underneath the glass and is now trapped there. This has especially built up under the edge of the glass where it is curved for the circular dials. I know the BeoSound 5 at the dealer is still a model in development before early next

All Serenes are unlocked. The Samsung models might not be however. My Serene is still going strong, although I now use two phones. The Serene for private use and a Samsung smart phone for email and web use.

I agree with Tom here, always a man of good taste, except for his choice of football team ... this has always confused me. Although the BeoLab 5s don't look terrible in white, they certainly look better in black in my opinion. I really don't think there is any way to make these bad boys look smaller than they are just by playing with colour

There are advised viewing distances depending upon the size of screen, but your preferred distance is what matters most. I would recommend trying various positions with both the BV7 32" and BV7 40". You should also remember that the viewing distance can be closer if you are predominantly watching in HD as the picture is much sharper.
