Thank you Peter - interesting on the differences at the high end with 128 vs 160 (and greater). It was hard to tell, but most of my encoding is with iTunes - any thoughts on that? -michael

I typically will play iTunes through an Airport express which is connected to the Aux input on my BS3200. My MP3 are encoded at all different rates. Is the mini-jack (i.e. Powerbook soundcard) any better? -michael

Since I got my new BL2 I have really been enjoying the "feel" of my music. However - when I play directly from CD is sounds much fuller than when I use iTunes with or without (direct connect from Powerbook) my airport. These are all MP3 of various encoding rates. Just got my new Beolab 2..... plugged it in and convincing myself how much I love it - so far that is not too difficult. A few questions - Does it matter how the Powerlink cables are plugged in/out (i.e. I have my left BL8K plugged directly into my BS3200 and the right BL8K is plugged into the BL2 which is then plugged into the BS3200). Any advice on
