>It's a shame as there does not seem any easy way to connect an external audio source such as an iPod well there is the iBundO Pro at 189 euros and super integration with a Beo4 remote
-
anybody using the IR455 to X-10 converter box that Marmitek sell ?? I want to keep my investment in 7 x Beo4 remotes, so the X-10 converter approach appeals to me

have you seen LinkPlayer ? it installs nicely on your Mac, but you also need the Beoport
-
the guide says that PC can only be used for local source and not sent over masterlink?
that is true, you really need to connect your Mac Mini via USB to a BeoPort box you would also need the IR Eye to control the volume from your Beo4 remote or get a BeoSystem 3 :-)

the latest version of the PCG ( Product Configuration Guide ) 30th Jan 2009 is here

we can probably organise a table for 10 people, having been to the venue many times before it will be easy to bring along many of my B&O pals and their spouses :-) but my wife has just asked me what the date is - derrr !

interesting, I think it is time to try out as many Siemens DECT handsets as I can, and see which register to the B&O base, the good news is that you have established that other manufacturers can be used, which is great ! All I need is a DECT phone from Siemens that has "speakerphone" function :-)
