I have these linked and would like to monitor a source from the 9500's ATape2 socket on the Avant. With a beolink 1000 it's very easy: AV>shift>Atape but with a beo4 I am finding it impossible to achieve. Can anyone help out? David

Check the scart control is set to 'on' in the Sky box (services>picture settings). This activates pin 8. David

Software is M3.10. I need to know the hours of use. I thought it was menu 00 go but that only gives the software version. Thanks for any help. (Menu>setup>00>go also does not work) David

I replaced my LX5500 with a 32DVD RF Avant and would recommend the upgrade. Two things to bear in mind though - one is that the 32" wide screen has a shorter optimum viewing distance than your 28" MX ... and conversely, that the Avant has a huge presence - even when switched off. It will not suit a room with low ceiling height in my opinion

Can anyone tell me the main differences between BV7 mk1/2/3/4? Beocentral has nothing to date and the Beoworld description has not been modified since 2007. For e.g when did the external lights change from red to white/blue? Thanks David
