  • Re: DVD2

Peter, thank you! Is Philips 7300, which apparently serves as basis for DVD2, a premium range DVD recorder of Philips? I can't find this model on the Philips website, maybe it has been decommissioned already.

  • Re: Who has a BeoCenter 6-26?

I have owned a BC6-26 since a couple of months. I use it as a second TV in the bedroom, with a viewing distance of around 3 m, which is the farthest limit in my opinion. We bought it because we wanted to have a device with both TV and a radio function. My experience with it has been that it is a very good TV set and the sound from the built-in speakers

  • Re: DVD2

I am considering buying a DVD2 when it becomes available. Having looked at the DVD2 manual, there are the following questions still open for me: 1) Is that possible to record from a video camera directly to DVD (the manual says only about recording to HDD)? 2) Is that possible to connect DVD2 via HDMI to the DVI input of a Beovision using a HDMI-DVI

  • Re: Help: Why does my Ouverture always think it is June??

I have never had this problem with my Ouverture. Even after plugging out from mains, the date is always correct. However, my model is the latest one produced by B&O (after 2000) so the Y2K bug was definitely not a problem.

  • Re: BeoLab 3 or Beolab 8000

I have both BL8000 (part of the 5.1 set-up in the living room) and BL3 (as a stereo set-up in my home office). I use BL3 mainly to listen to the radio or electronic music CDs, at quite low volume and at the distance of around 3 meters from myself, and they produce a superb sound under these conditions. The sound is very clear and balanced, especially

My B&O dealer has told me that DVD2 (with a built-in HD drive) will be released soon this summer.

  • Re: splendid!

mobeyone: They do look fantastic on the wall. They all look fantastic as long as you don't see the hanging cables... I always like it with the B&O advertising - cables are never on display.
