We have had similar problems with our BS9000 when it was purchased, it had difficulty reading discs and would spin up for a while and then stop and display pause. I also had to repeat pressing "Go" to get it to work. It now seems to be working fine. I think the problem is most likely to be dust accumulating where the cd reading laser is. When
