Sorry I did not explain it properly. To qualify for a free Beo 5 and you are an existing customer you can purchase just a pair of loudspeakers from the list. However if you are a new customer then the requirement is as I mentioned above.

Tubes have an expected life of about 30,000 hrs. The best thing to do is to check the service counters for hours of use in video mode (I think it gives you the count in days so multiply by 24) and then make your decision from there.

I don't think that ther is much question that even at that length, you will get a better picture with scart than with coax. But it does seem to be a lot to pay for a scart cable regardless of quality, especially when you could buy a sky box for £99 granted it's not Sky+ but if you get it as part of a multi-room package there is even a

The issue is that Bang & Olufsen remotes operate Bang & Olufsen TV's not 3rd party products, the television is the part that operates the Sky box. All B&O TV's use the scart cable as a means of control and if you tell the BV8 that a SKY+ box is connected to, say AV1, it will periodically send a signal down pin 8 of the scart to check

The noise is made by the magnet that holds the disc in place when playing. When there is no disc in the tray and you open the loader what you hear is the magnet disengaging from the tray.I hope this reads OK, I haven't had my cup of tea yet.

Keith Saunders: In the UK the Beocentre 6-26 is shipped with FM & DAB as standard Until recently the Beocenter 6 23" was shipped with FM & DAB as standard in the UK but in the 26" it has always been an optional extra. However, now both sizes are available without the FM/DAB tuner.
