Hi Kevin, I had similar problems and had mine serviced at B7o Wimborne Minster in Dorset at a very low cost less than £70, I know the tuning cord is around £33 and I purchased a replacement aluminium cover for less then £30 Hope this is of help. Kind regards Dave
-
Hi Keith, Not sure if you managed to view my last post above regarding the colour coding? Regards Dave

Thanks for the responses and advice! Cheers Dave

Hi Nick, I can highly recommend B&o Arnold, Nottingham and B&o Wimborne Minster in Dorset, They have obtained spares for me too including a new alloy control cover for a Beomaster 6000. Let me know how you get on in Sheffield! Regards Dave

I subscribe to Hi-Fi World. They did a review of the Beomaster 2000 a few years back in their olde world section, I think they have suggested recently that they may do further reviews of B&o equipment including older models. Regards Dave

Thanks for your reply beohaus, i was thinking of using a seven pin din connecter to stereo jack via the aux audio input this would leave my 2nd scart free

Is it possible to connect an i pod via the aux input on MX7000? Regards Dave

Dismantled the RL140's cone surrounds seem fine, but the printing on the capacitors is illegeble, does anyone know the values or have a circuit diagram/ service manual? Kind regards Dave
-
Fairly easy, just ensure you have removed every screw, there is one under the mounting plate and two under each strap took only 15 minutes, I want to recover them although the grills aren't too bad.

Collected the speakers yesterday, I have just dismantled one to inspect the driver surrounds and they appear fine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or service manual available as I intend to rebuild and upgrade the crossovers. Kind regards Dave
