• Re: Anyone familiar with this B&O device? DTS Bass Management Converter Beolab 5

Based on some earlier posts I located on the forum, the Beosystem 1 has some quirks when dealing with low frequencies, (2 channel vs 5.1 etc.) and this device has also been used in combination with the Beolab 2 and other Beolab speakers as well to solve the issue. Still not sure what it really does, but I guess if I don't have a problem, I won't

  • Anyone familiar with this B&O device? DTS Bass Management Converter Beolab 5

E-Bay item 220241368766 DTS Bass Management Converter ??? What is it and can it can do what the seller is claiming? No need for a BL 2 with the BL 8000's? I would have to think the seller is exagerating a little here. Can anyone of the technical gurus at Beoworld explain what this is and what it really does? Thanks, Roger

  • Re: Beolab 2000 vs Beolab 3500

"Another useful nugget of information is that BeoLab2000 can be activated by the volume control on BeoCom6000. If the speaker is in standby mode and you turn the volume wheel on a BeoCom6000 handset, the BeoLab2000 switches the Master on to the last thing it was doing. As far as I know, the BeoLab3500 doesn't do this." The 3500 will switch

  • Re: Samsung & Armani: The end of BangVision?

Hmmm........ Armani and cheaper prices never seen these two together before. As for "glass", perhaps B&O's anti-reflective screen coating is in order. Glass on a flat panel is the worst idea in a sun lit room. Roger

  • Re: BeoLab 2 in White!

B&O does not offer the BL-2 in colors but after seeing Peter's blue version and now this white one, I wish they would wake up and offer this option, the current choice is getting old and has been old from day one! Can you tell I don't like the current BL-2 color choice hahahaha Fantastic job, Lee It appears to have a "gloss" finish

  • Re: Free Beo5 !!

Stan: This is just in the UK, correct? I'm *this* close to buying a BL3500 - just need to check out those pesky installation costs first. However, I've heard nothing of this offer in the US. Stan Stan, I was in to visit my dealer last week and the only "special" they mentioned was a trade in for speaker upgrade to BL 9 or BL 5's

Uh-oh! Does this mean my 1080i or 1080p BV-4 now has to be a 1080ip3d? Roger
