I dreamed of a beosound 9000 for more than 10 years and now the time has come that I can afford one. Just right in time before this iconic peace of b&o history will end its production. I really like cds. mp3 is something you can't hold in your hands, something you can't show someone. mp3s don't have covers or images. Having 6 cds visible

Hi Lars, thanks for your answer. Have you tried to enable Windows Audio in Windows Server. As long as it's not enabled Windows will not work properly with a sound card. You can find it in the management console right under services. I use Windows Server 2003 on a Acer H340 Home Server, which does not have any sound card, so I'll have to use

Hi all, as I'm getting a beosound 9000 MK III soon, I would like to know if it is possible to use a Windows 2003 server with beoport instead of a normal pc. The server is already running 24h, so there would be no need to keep a second machine running. As far as I understand Beoport streams music over masterlink to a compatible audio system. How

Spoke to my dealer today and he asked a price of about 53€ for that spare part, so it's cheaper to buy a complete beoport ir-eye from ebay, defective or not and throw the obsolete parts in the bin. Regards Martin

Hi everybody, I would like to know if the dark red plastic part on the front of a b&o ir-eye is available as a spare part. There are two versions around, one with timer and play button, the other one without these buttons, like on a beoport ir-eye. Does anyone has a part number availabe for the one without buttons, as my dealer couldn't help
