Updating my own post. 1. I certainly need a mk2 powerlink to connect from the wireless to passive amp. 2. The ML may be not working as its a link(passive) via link(wireless) to the source (ouverture) If any one out there willing to sell a used powerlink mk2in USA let me know Thanks

Is it correct that mk2 has 8 pins

Fully wired would mean 5pin or 7pin? Is there a relationship between pins and mk2 or mk3?

I know the MK3 has a triangle. Is it possible to identify MK2 visually from Mk1 or Mk3. Thanks

I tried connecting to my beosound 4000 via a beolink wireless and then ML to passive. Also had two IR eye controls connected to wireless and passive. I was able to control the beosound via wireless. However, every time I try to switch passive on Using it's IR the passive switches on for few seconds and then gets into standby. I have given up working

Until recently (early 2010) I was not even aware of the Brand B&O. One pleasant evening I was browsing through my BMW Owners magazine and there in the centre page was the Beosound 5. The whole set-up caught my attention and I began to find out more on the prices. Ofocurse it was a sticker shock when I found the price of these pieces of art. Thus
