• Re: ASUS NX90Jq is Bang & Olufsen designed

When I was at the ASUS booth at CES yesterday, they told me that this computer will be available for purchase sometime this May.

  • Re: ASUS NX90Jq is Bang & Olufsen designed

I just saw and played around with this new David Lewis designed computer today at the Las Vegas CES show. The sound from the speakers was quite nice for a mere computer. Unfortunately, the polished metal surface looked a bit grimy with all those fingerprints on it. This "notebook" is really too big to be a truly portable computer. It's

  • Re: My wishlist for 2010

B&O bringing all of their LCD panels to the current, up to date technology would be a good start. They should for the price they are asking for them!

  • Re: How to clean the BL8000 black "stand"

Try mixing in a little lemon juice or carbonated water. The slight amount of citric or carbonic acid may break up the calcium deposits.

  • Re: BeoVision 8, BeoVision 10 or BeoVision 7 with 40'' screen

In my opinion, the BeoVision 10 currently represents the best value in the 40 inch B&O lineup. It has superior LCD panel technology and still gives you a nice surround sound processor like the BV-7. The BeoVision 7 uses older LCD panel technology, but offers digital image enhancement for lower resolution sources such as DVD and older television

  • Re: Samsung LED TV

I thought the Samsung LED televisions looked fabulous when I saw them early this year at the Las Vegas CES show. Much better than the CCFL backlit counterparts. It's a pity that the BV7-40 still doesn't sport this new technology. I'm trying to be patient. I just can't fit the 55 inch version in my room, or my windows will be blocked

  • Re: BeoVision 7, 55'' pictures now in media center

What's up with the 120Hz panel on the new BV7-55? The smaller, less expensive BV10 has a 240Hz panel. At least it's LED backlit, but the BV10 is still a better buy for the money.

  • Re: BV7 -40" vs BV10-40" - Which to choose
The BV7-40 will be coming out with the same type of backlit LED screen as the 7-55. It should re-establish the pecking order!
Thanks for the information, Peter. That's what I was hoping for! Mike

  • Re: BV7 -40" vs BV10-40" - Which to choose

Both televisions look great, but I am a bit perplexed that B&O is still offering the BeoVision 7-40 with a 120Hz, CCF backlit LCD panel when you can "downgrade" to the 240Hz, LED edge lit LCD BV10. My decision to purchase the more expensive and better-looking BV7 has everything to do with B&O bringing its panel up to date. If they

  • Re: your next B&O buy?

I will be purchasing a BeoVision 7-40 (no disc player) to replace my Avant 32" in my living room later this year or early next year. Perhaps some day I will replace my Pentas with a pair of BeoLab 5 speakers. My old Avant will go into the master bedroom, and the Pentas will go into my exercise room. I can't seem to discard a lot of my vintage
