• Re: Beovision 5 cloth fret

I have to say I agree. That's what makes it such a nice TV. It was surely more successful than the new BV9 ?? It's a lovely looking TV.

  • Re: Alternatives to Beosound 5

I haven't used Beosound 5.... but we have 2 Apple TVs at home.... In addition to storing all your music you can rent movies as you wish, store photo albums and display them on your TV. Watch previews for movies. Although we still buy CDs it's nice not to have to buy entire DVDs and just rent them as you wish. Plus it's environmentally friendly
I never knew why the BS3 wasn't made in to a decent alarm clock. Could have made it half the size, vertically.
Yeah. • Re: Bought Beolab 5 and Beosound 9000

We've moved the speakers out from the wall even more.... the house is SHAKING. I can't believe the bass in these things. They blow speakers away twice their size.... and it's not even distorted. You could never test them at this level in the store. It would be totally inappropriate ! AMAZING.

  • Re: Is a used BL5 worth it?

We just bought used BL5's I have to say... the thrill of getting a bargain really adds to the enjoyment of the product for me.... also it means the major depreciation hit has been taken care of by someone else, though mine are out of warranty. So if something goes wrong it's my responsibility to pay... but that's a risk I am willing to take

  • Re: Beolab 5 calibration problem

Hey thank you for that. I might give it a go. The only problem could be that the calibration did work when we first set it up. So it would lose those settings. Hmmm decisions decisions.

  • Re: Beolab 5 calibration problem

I will try it again when I get a chance.... maybe after moving it. Hopefully it's nothing too big because it would be 6 months out of warranty. boo. They still play perfectly though so I am not too concerned.
