Looks like you are on your way to a successful repair Evan. I would assume that you will be replacing all the eletros not just the 3 big power caps.

The Beomaster 2400 Command Module is still my favorite remote. Eight function, ultrasonic, weighs a couple pounds, is large and clunky but its a thing of vintage beauty. It is what makes the 2400 system one of my favorites. and its fun to play with and a bit of a conversation piece at parties.

Nice setup - all that remains is a matching CD50 or better yet a CD 5500. Blacktrix is right most likely the tape deck has a bad belt(s) and Martin should be able to supply a new set. The turntable sraping could also be the turntable suspension has fallen out of alignment ( I had this problem once) and you will have to realiign it) but sheck to see
