Jandyt: Yes, I believe I have helped carry them. Corsa back seat goes flat, I still think they will fit with the stands off. Hi Andy That's really kind of you - I checked with Peter and he's happy for you to give it a go and try and fit them in your Corsa. I'll drop you a PM to try and sort something out! Chris - thanks for the offer - I

Peter - you're a gent. I would love borrow them for a short while to have a good listen with the BM8000. I'll drop you a PM in the morning :)

Ohhh! Seriously - I'd love to hear what they sound like compared to my Pentavoxes. If the MS150s sounded better I would lose the Pentas and try and find some MS150s. Did you bring yours back from Bellac then Peter?
-
Ohhh - if you decide to part with them, let me know as I'd be interested to see if they perform better than my Pentas with my BM8000 :)

Hi Laurence I got there in the end by purchasing a partially working one from fellow Beoworlder Craig. It's now down with Tim Jarman awaiting repair, so hopefully I can join the quad club soon :)
-
Are they MS150s or 150.2s Chris?
-
....must be as I own one, and it definitely doesn't have datalink (just two RCA jacks)!

Hello Deb Either a CDX or CDX2 would be ideal in this role. Indeed, the CDX was often partnered with the Beocenter 4000 when new (assuming you have the 80s version), and would make an ideal match cosmetically. Try and go for a CDX, as the CDX2 has a less reliable laser mechanism from memory.

I use MC120.2s with my BM6000, and Beovox Pentas with my BM8000. All units are in A1 condition. For day to day listening at moderate volumes, I prefer the MC120.2s. However, when I want to listen seriously at decent volumes (that might disturb the neighbours) I would always go for the Pentas and BM8000 - there's no comparison in my opinion.

...all you can do with the front panel controls is eject a CD, play and skip forward through the tracks. That's it. Please note that the CD50 must have the IR receiver board fitted to use the CD Terminal remote control.
