  • Re: BV 7 - Zoom option on BV7-40

I love Mercy Street - one of my favourite songs. Don't Give Up my favourite from the album though. I have an original copy of So... on vinyl in mint condition (in fact, it's next to popless) and it sounds wonderful. Also, I too have come across DVDs which don't play ball with the B&O DVD players. Coldcut's Sound Mirrors DVD springs to mind.

Paris: Thankyou for your comments Alex you're cute. What uni are you hoping to go to? You are so right about the beolab 5, they produce an amazing sound too. I went to a few Bang & Olufsen dealer to see them properly and was also given a sound demonstration. Thankyou Chris, I don't think I will be "answering" then! Paris x Looking

Paris: Wow I wasn't expecting so many replies so soon. Thankyou for the warm welcome to everyone who has left a message. I registered because I really appreciate some of Bang & Olufsens designs and I am studying interior design at Chelsea. I have recently completed an assignment focussing on beolab 5, illustrating how they are speakers and at

I'll also add that I'm not in Uni yet - although I've been offered a place! I'm off to study Creative Music Technology after next year.

  • Re: Beolab1 vs. Beolab 5

The BeoLab 1 is a very good speaker, although I believe the BeoLab 9 is in a league above, let alone the BeoLab 5s. BL1s vs BL5s is like comparing a very nice BMW 5 series to a Bugatti Veyron. You won't just see improvements in the bass (which is incomparably better than BL1s), but the upper frequencies also are taken onto a whole new level. There's

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

I don't have that album, I'll have to try and get hold of it soon... Right now I'm listening to Groovin' by George Benson , a brilliant cover of the Young Rascals' classic.

Craig: j0hnbarker: I just lied and said that the Pentas I bought would be 3ft tall and not dominate our living room... What happened when you got them home though. Craig While they may not be 3 ft tall, I do feel j0hnbarker is right in saying they won't dominate his living room...

Henry: Stars was my favourite Simply Red album. Currently playing: James Taylor - How Sweet It Is It would be between Stars and Picture Book as my favourite - I don't like their others, very average IMO. Currently listening to Galaxy by Hippiehaus from Hôtel Costes 5 . Brilliant compilation...
