Philip, please tell me the first three numbers from the serial on you speakers, it's found under the big disk. Mine are too OLD!!! to be used with a synch cable... I like Springsteens music, and I've seen him live once, but that was a load of rubbish... Supposedly it was a far better concert last time he was here. But the first time made me convinced not to see him again.

Well if they both received some kind of "rough" handling at some point? If they've been used as rear speakers, the previous owner probably never noticed anything? Since the information sent to the rear channels is very limited, especially if used in a older pro logic system.

You can download the service manual. There seems to be two fuses.

Strange indeed. Could there be a fuse blown? They have different amps for treble and bass. If the bass amps fuse went bust on both at the same time?... Speculating here.
