Thank you, but...Any specific RIAA pre amp you can recommend? Sorry to ask - I'm a rookie in this subject :) /Jesper
They are available from £10 to thousands! Just what the difference is I don't know and probably can't hear anyway. I suggest you google or look at amazon and see what you fancy

You will need a RIAA pre amp between them as the BM4500 expects a 1volt signal from the deck.
Hi I have the same issue. I bought a nice beolit 600 off ebay from a guy in Odense, Denmark. The speaker has the same problem- is the magnet appears stuck. As a result the radio sounds very tinny. A year has gone by, with promises to send me a new speaker. A dozen or so emails later still nothing. Be wary of ebay

Not sarcastic Jan. He is making a joke, maybe funny for us Brits but in rather poor taste.

Hello David, Although you've had it checked, I still suspect your MMC2 which, in good nick, usually sounds a touch on the bright side to my ears. The recommended amps when I bought my RL140's way back when was a pair of Beolab 150's (Later to become 200's) as fitted to Beolab Pentas. Unless your bedroom is massive then I suspect that the 3500 will suffice!
Can anyone advise how to access the lithium battery in a 9500 please? John
I am very much in favour of the DIY approach, indeed, I have been known to tackle most jobs and hang the concequences. The lithium battery is situated on the microprocessor board which ideally should be removed from the 9500. I cannot

No UK source as far as I'm aware. I use 47 uF as I believe 33's are not made any longer. The Philips company that made this particular capacitor was bought by BC Components and they were further aquired by Vishay I believe. There are internet sources in the US who will supply 1's and 2's. Again, this has been the subject of posts by
Gent's as usual thanks for the quick reply, can someone tell me the location of C2103 on the servo board, unfortunately I do not have a workshop manual, but will try and change it tomorrow and see what happens. Many Thanks Steve
If you upgrade your membership of the forum to silver (£15) you can
