I've noticed that the lids can differ quite a bit and I can see what you mean but I never really considered it green. I agree, in the above photo, it does look a bit green'ish. Martin

I agree. There's some serious filtering going on there. Bang & Olufsen didn't mount all those expensive components just because they've accidentally ordered too many. Put a Penta speaker through a monitored frequency sweep, change a driver or a filter component and see if you can make them any better. I think, you'll be surprised

Welcome to Beoworld ! The CX woofers are still available from B&O so if you can't find one by a fellow Beoworld'er (I don't have one at present), you should be able to buy a new one (or a pair) from your local dealer. They are not very costly. Martin
