We would like to, but B&O could sue us for breach of copyright. There are a number of members who have it though.... Unfortunately it is not written for Mac!

The MMC3 is rather nice! It was fitted as standard to the Beogram 6002, and together, this was a splendid combination. The MMC3 was the equivalent of the MMC4000 and the 6002 was, to all intents and purposes, a Beogram 4002. Very cheap and reliable deck! Slightly odd Datalink in that it was only one way but highly recommended.

Not quite sure what you mean - the S80.2 is an average speaker - I have happened upon a review by Hi-Fi Choice which does not recommend them, and they are usually quite positive about B&O. The Beolab 5000 is an excellent amplifier and more than capable of driving them. I would not recommend them together though as the Beovox 5000 or 3000 are a better

Actually I am going to be controversial here! I reckon all the MMC1-5 cartridges are not bad, even the MMC5. Having seen the tip of an MMC4 under an electron microscope, it is only just elliptical and the MMC5 is not much different. I have compared cartridges fairly widely and there is a definite B&O in house sound and all of these cartridges have

Yes, they are excellent if quite large. A friend has a pair set up at home and reckons they are one of the best loudspeakers he has heard - and he is busy repairing some beolab 5s at present... They will need the capacitors in the cross over changing or they will sound dull and you must use the stands or they sound bass heavy and muddy. I confess to

I wonder if the 46" will be shown as well - more suited to the US market.

Yes they have a recessed 2pin DIN plug - you need a 2 pin socket and these are available in a variety of forms at Maplins. These are lovely littl;e speakers - much nicer than the later S25 as the S22 had the more expensive dome tweeter fitted. Very small but a good cabinet finish and very pleasant if lightweight sound. The ones on Beocentral are mine

Not supposed to be like that - the suspension has gone. I think you need a new cartridge.

It rather depends on what is left of your MMC20S. Axel can repair these and put a new cantilever and stylus on for about €80. The alternative is a new Soundsmith one which will be twice that. The MMC10E will fit though this is a US model not seen much in the UK. The following will also fit: MMC3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 SP15 MMC20S, 20E, 20EN, 20CL

To be completely honest, I do not recommend any firm supplying belts for B&O products. If you want a belt, always ask Martin first. He will have had the product and you will always get the correct item. He is somewhat reticent in advertising the fact that he can supply almost all belts but Chris and I will always point you to him!
