On my US BV8 it works flawless. I chose Ipod Remote.

@ Soundproof: My BV8 / Beo 4 controls the Apple TV without issue including fast scroll. I would definitely invest in a cable and try it, maybe even check with dealer or a STB update. The control is awesome, it works as smooth as with the Apple Remote. For your issue with volume, Surround movies are generally recorded lower then lets say music. This

I hooked my A TV up through HDMI. I am still fiddling with the 1st sync. Unfortunately the ethernet port in my imac seems to be bust and wireless is so slow. I think the HDMI expander is a bit limited. You can assign the HDMI only to one source so you can control only one device through IR blaster / STB. So connecting a cable box and the apple tv and

I just got it working on my BV8. I chose Ipod remote, I do not know yet how to display the software version but it is the US version. It fast scrolls. The danish are amazing .... Cheers JK

Fast scrolling is working with Apple TV. I just did up and down, no content yet to try backward forward. This will be awesome!!! No worries about raining on my parade. I am an occasional viewer and the BV8 makes perfect sense to me even without surround and full hd. I think they priced it right for what it is. Cheers JK

You might be disappointed with the sound coming out of soundcard. I was with my Imac. There are external ones though that connect through usb. I.e. from xitel. Otherwise, the BL3 is an awesome speaker, I have it for 2 years or so. Cheers Jk

My setup is Beovision 8 with Beocenter 2. My Lab 3/ Lab2 combination is attached to the TV. Are there reasons when to connect the speaker to the TV versus the music system? I know for most with surround this is not really a question but I am wondering what people choose and why. Cheers JK

I stopped watching the 80s Twin Peaks and just finished John Q and have now Bones Season 1 on. Sound is very nice, picture is very nice as well. Stunning black levels. I tried both, all my lights on (really bright light) and now darkness and it performs well in both situations. For me this is perfect. I can see that people complain about the picture

I got my BC2 and Beovision 8 just now. This is my first ever B&O TV so I have not really a clue how to use it, but its playing a DVD now in under an hour - I did the setup on my own. I am definitely happy with sound, speech is much clearer then using BL3/BL2 alone. Few things I will test out over the weekend and post here: - Apple TV. I will get

I didn't see or test it but it does have the IR integrated. Its on top of the frame, similar to what you have with BV9. You can see it here, http://www.bang-olufsen.com/page.asp?id=14 Cheers JK
