OH, I HAVE NEVER GOT SO MANY STUPID ANSWERS, THANK U ALL SO MUCH!
Didn't mean to offend you Avus17, just having a laugh.
Likewise : - no offence intended and as already been pointed out no one really knows much about this rumoured product. I think these replies

Hi Heather, these prices are good if everything is in good working order & decent cosmetically. You won't get any warranty anywhere on this vintage of equipment to be honest. I would happily pay that if they are as described. Check out as many functions as you can before parting with cash. Although they are 20 year old they were very well designed

Superb work! I'm very impressed with the results. Chris.

The soundsmith SMMC4 is superior (sound wise) to the original B&O MMC4. A very worthwhile investment. It is also superior to the old B&O MMC20EN, but as Simon has already mentioned, it won't fit your Beogram 8002. Chris.

Puncher - John, The first use of even a sythesizer (an Oberheim OBX) in any of their recordings was on the album "The Game" in 1980. I saw them live in 1982 at Elland Road and they simply blew me and the rest of the audience away. Chris.
Are you implying Queen were

Puncher - John, I couldn't agree more re :- Bruce Springcabbage but I can't believe your'e having a pop at Queen, go hang your heads in shame. They were an intelligent band full of great song writers - ALL of 'em - and they could all play there instruments consumately. Where do you find combinations like that these days? The first use

Both John, as part of the surround set up I ran the CX100's via the cona. When the TV died I ran the penta's through the Cona. As my BS7000 is in a relatively small room (4m X 4m) it didn't really warrant the amount of extra bass provided. It was a personal choice on my part to do away with it as I aren't a big fan of most "bassy"

Craig is correct:- BM7000 - cona - penta's. I had this connected to a MX5500 as part of a surround sound system (pentas, cona & CX100's) - hence the cona was added for extra bass which worked extremely well for movies. Since the demise of the MX I reverted to using my BS7000 for music only where the cona didn't actually add a great deal

Beautiful - I am genuinely pleased this turned out well. Who would have thought the motor from a Beogram TX (or possibly BG8000 - can't remember the exact source) would work in a 4002? Derfinately one for the memory bank. Looking at these makes me want a similar system so I may just start with the 4002 I have already and work through ebay. Whether
