It isn't all that expensive, and you may do it yourself if your practical enough I replaced one top plate of my 4000 and did it myself, the one plate cost $90 aus dollars. The top and bottom peel off (and are destroyed) the front panels can be easily unscrewed once the grilles are detached.

nonetheless it looks really nice with the 8000's in white. NICE. Also i really like the numbers idea, that's a great touch

PhilLondon: You could send the Headphone socket from the BV into the A-AUX IN of the BS. But I would not recommand it as it would not bring any benefit considering you have Beolab speakers. Buy a cheap Beosound 3000 or Ouverture of eBay... That's good advice.

As soon as i get a BV7 32 to replace the BV3 i will be coming to you guys for this cabinet - it's bloody beautiful. An amazing design. I'm blown away!

archie: BS 2 software, which soft ? Ah yes, i remember, the soft who used usb 1 to transfer music in a mp3 player who could have 2Go S D card R I P...... Yeh you're not wrong there!!!! BS2 makes up for it for being a great product to use, look at, touch and hear though :)
