DU, you are correct. BS's point by point reply was well done indeed. I admit that I was incorrect on several points. That's what I call Harvard debate material!

I would like to clarify that whatever Loewe products do or don't do, I have to say that they're a brand about which I generally have nothing but kind things to say. I simply found it instructive to take a very direct comparison and explain what it did or didn't do compared to a BeoVision 7. If Loewe were really available here in the states

DoubleU, Weak arguments in my post? Let me quote your arguments here: "whatever" "no problem" "ask your wife" Not exactly Harvard debate material. Otherwise, my argument stands. I don't think the Loewe is a bad choice at all and wasn't insulting the poster's personal choice. I'm glad he went with a unique

Chris, that isn't true of either the BeoMedia or the BeoSound 5. Where did you come to the idea that there was no automatic synchronization? I have it working here at home with my own Macs. You simply set iTunes to locate its music on the BeoMedia and choose the option to keep it organized. Then you can set a backup at regular intervals if you want

You will connect the laptop to the A.AUX input on the 9000 and if you want to control it sitting in the can, you can use iremote on your iPhone or iPod touch. B&O in the bathroom. What a

I'm sure all those Loewe products look nice, but what about the build quality I like in Bang & Olufsen? What if I truly care about how it's built and what materials are used? And I'm sure you know that Loewe speakers are re-branded Bose (putting them well below BeoLab 4s in quality), so what would be the price increase for the 875 watt

This is a great question and one that often confounds customers and green sales associates alike! The answer depends on how or if you plan to grow your system beyond the one room. While the BeoVision 7 will play CDs in the internal drive and output digitally (as it will use the same pathways as if a DVD were in use), it will not act as an Audio Master

Our plan to include Blu-Ray in the BeoVision 7 MkIV has been discussed for some time. The module will be retro-compatible to the MkIII. This will launch sometime in the summer. The BeoCenter 2 will not see an upgrade as there is no drive assembly that can be fitted to the unique architecture of the BeoCenter 2.
