  • Re: Beolab 7.2 / Beolab 7.4

Just like that! I prefer it with the 7-4 underneath personally, but it's all up to you, not us.

Apple TV! Cheaper, neater, controllable via Beo4 and gives you other stuff too, like Movies and Photos. A good DAC + Apple TV will still cost less than the Linn solution, and I dare say it would probably work much better too!

The 7-4 makes the BeoVision 7 look lighter, whilst the 7-2 (or 7-1 in the case of the 32" BV7) can make the TV look 'heavy' and actually a little larger than it really is. I'd recommend the 7-40 wall bracket if your wall can take it! Excellent piece of engineering and very very cool when it's working. You can mount the 7-4 to the wall bracket too, and

  • Re: Worst Bang & Olufsen product ever designed?

Jandyt: Why has nobody mentioned Beovox 1? Fancy bringing out a passive speaker in this day and age. As far as I am aware, there isn't a contemporary B&O master with a passive output. Bet you don't sell many of them, Trip! (Please correct me if I am wrong) The BeoVox 1 is designed to only be used with the BeoLink Passive. An active 'install

It's the MacMini which is doing the upscaling, and it's not the best upscaling, especially on a 50" screen. Video quality - simply because the iTunes Music Videos are meant to be played

rotel1111: In my opinion BS2 and also BS3 Don't know how you can say BeoSystem 3! It's the prettiest box ever designed to be hidden out of the way - and what a performer too!

  • Re: BS5 Any news???

Not at all, it could store things in MP3/AAC format. We don't know yet, so it's impossible to say what the sound quality is going to be like. It also depends on the DAC used, and if it has a digital output to best make use of the BeoLab 5's capabilities.

  • Re: Beolink 7000

I would get one but I feel that a Beo5 would suit my needs better once I get a BeoVision (still looking for one ).
