Hello and welcome to Beoworld. As far as I know you can not use the PAL 60 setting on a CRT TV. We have an X-box 360 and can only use the PAL 60 games on an LCD TV. Also take a look at this link , it does say that older sets cannot handle the PAL 60 setting. Craig

At the moment quite a few dealers may have some CRT TV's that they have taken in part ex. There was a recent offer to trade in CRT's against flatscreens. Just picked up an Avant 28" VCR for £100 from my local dealer. Craig

There will be no problem connecting a non B&O DVD and VCR to a B&O TV. You will not be able to control them with the B&O remote though, so you may end up with more than one remote.
