Is there a 'Soldering for Dummies' book?
There is a lot on the net, just google it, read the theory, but more important, get an iron and solder and find an old radio or something to train on. Its simple when you get the hang of it and very fast you will crave for difficault jobs I use these tools
Pretty soon I'll be the only one without a 4000!
Just here on the forum!
If its just a broken string you are in luck. Not too terribly tough a project to repair really. I just finnished completing a "modern" restoration on mine and so far I am not disappointed. I usually run with S50 or S80 on the fronts and then CX100 for the "ambio sides"". It is a great amp Soren
I'm happy as child at Xmas, aparently the BM is working exept for the FM curser (string or curser broken)the presets works, its one of very few that still has the preset cover, but of course I'm going to do a full restore

Leslie, try to fight this one, it must be posible somehow, you may have the mails saved, and if so Ebay must react on your claim, dont let it go. Its important for all honest sellers and buyers
