Don't have any experience with MX7000 and Apple TV specifically, but it should work with everything you've specified. As you say, the MX7000 has no component connections, but that converter should do the job.

I'm a fan of both - the BL2000 is more flexible overall, and also cheaper. However, you can't buy them new any more, so the likelihood is that the garuantee is either much shorter or gone alltogether. BeoLab 3500 is far more discreet, sounds better and will come with the guarantee. However, doesn't offer the same hands-on-control as the BeoLab 2000

Flappo The Grate: buy a ps3 , the blu rays look stunning , you can browse the web with it and even play games on a bv9 via hdmi they would look staggeringly good ! Standard Def DVD doesn't look so special though. The upscaling in the BeoSystem 3 is quite frankly incomparably better to anything else I've seen on the market. Nothing else can make a SD

No, you would have to get a component > RGB adapter for the Apple TV and run in to one of the Scart sockets on the BeoVision 7 in order to distribute the sound/picture around the house.
