Are you using it in a link room? I would try, though I am sure you already have, removing the system from the 7000 and then adding it.You must do this in front of the system. If all three remotes are failing, it must be the 9500 - maybe the signal is low and sometimes it does not fully reach the remotes.

Afraid I cannot help here as I have never heard or indeed seen a pair in the flesh! Martin will no doubt have had some! The 5702 is a fine speaker but I do think the Uniphase were an improvement. They also are more interesting visually with the angled front panel.

Can't disagree with your findings! S30s are OK but dull compared to S45s. The less said about S25s the better - S22s were actually rather better and for a small link room quite acceptable. M100s sound pretty good no matter what I use, like S45s, but the other speaker that is very well thought of is the S120/MC120.2. I actually don't like the

I do have a slight problem in that,at times, probably due to my broadband speed, the threads and indeed the forums do not load fully. I get the ads top and bottom but just the title of the thread with no body. It can need refreshing a few times. I take it that the server simply gets sick of me as it is sending faster than I can receive! I am also getting

It does rather depend on what you plan to run them with. On the whole, get the speakers that match your system is an adage that is rarely wrong. B&O definitely matched speakers and receivers so the best performance is usually from the recommended speaker. I am not sure where you are but I would guess not the UK! The 4702 was not sold here - instead

You say it works fine at times? Is that fully or does it never work completely?
-
I sympathise but have not answered as I do not have the expertise to offer any advice. There is clearly at least one blown component which is stopping the battery from powering the 7000. The problem you have is that B&O have always repaired these by replacing modules, which are no longer available. Therefore you need to find someone who has the

Well it needs repairing so it rather depends on the price! It sounds as though the protection circuit is tripping so at a guess you need a bag of capacitors and variable resistors replacing. Martin no doubt does a kit for this. It is however a task requiring skill and patience. Personally I would look elsewhere.

Normally it sits in the charger. The mechanism that makes it sit up are two switches in the rearmost set of 'feet'. Put it on a book with these feet over the edge and it will not sit up.

8000 system now sold. Only the speakers left! Make me an offer!
