I still have some doubts about your setup. You have a 2 ports hdmi module in the panasonic. So how do tell the BS3 to use the right slot/port? Normaly a DVI module is used in slot 1 and the RS232 port sends the signal to "scan" the slot for video. But now in this slot there are 2 ports, so probably extra input is needed from the BS3. About

More anoying is renaming the tracks and artist and the first attempt to collect cover and album info (from another album I was ripping) will result in totally messed up album again. I would advise: download a service manual. There you can find some instructions about geometry. Every tube has its own settings and are calibrated with the help of a computer in Denmark.

@ Anders. How is the BV5 doing? Does it exceed your expectations? My experiences till now are resulting in more questions then answers... I've received my HD ready kit. It contains of a DVI module, software and a instruction how to handle. I had also to order the DVI extenson cable and the DVI plate. So I mounted the parts. That's quite a job

Hi Christian, By straight I meant "normal", nothing special. So that would be : ground (5) to ground (5) RX (2) to TX(3) TX(3) to RX(2) Searching through the service manual I also saw that the DVI cable used is from the type DVI Dual Link.

The first thing which comes in mind is : change the tuning system from I to B/G. Enter the service mode and change it in the tuner section.
