  • Re: Beocenter 1 c/w floor stand

A14BEO: Hi Tony, These are worth around £500-650 on the used market - luckily for you values have fallen since used BeoVision/Center 6's have appeared regularly. Watch out for dodgy DVD mechanisms though - they can be as reliable as a chocolate fireguard - and always transport upright - lying them down can cause no end of trouble. EEK! Good

Steve at Sounds Heavenly: Hi Paul, I'm guessing from your previous posts that you have been "bitten by the B&O bug" in the way that many of us here have been. The design of their flagship products is a great lure for many people, but the ownership experience can be quite a challenging one. In the same way that owners of classic cars

It;s a poorly written post... i have no idea how i understood it... He's saying "what is so good about b&o for those who are confronted with lots issues and having to spend alot of money..." I think He's made the observation that there are so many unhappy customers...

  • Re: BeoVision 9 Modification

Roger: Having recently mounted a BeoMedia 1 in a 9'er, I would guess that there isn't enough space for BL4k's in there. And you will have to make new holes in the MDF (it is pre-cut for the built-in MONO center speaker). But I would go with Lee: 7-40 w/7-2 would be better here (the stereo image is designed around the fact that the tweeters

  • Re: Beo Vision 3 TV

dylan: From memory cost me about AU$300 but that included guy coming to house and fitting it together with a new STB-C chip. Didn't need software update for 3yr old TV WOW! thats cheap. For Beocenter 1 i was quoted $1000 for the dolby surround card and $700 for a new back cover to be fitted to accommodate the change... crazyness
