They were explaining haw it was dangerous to have moving parts in remote controlled appliances as it would be dangerous, unless you control them from the room itself. They gave the example of the turning TV, that could knock a flower pot. B&O explained they

Oh... calm!!! We are not saying you should not care about the environment by not turning your AVANT off. But that turning it off will have NO impact on the environment, nor on your bill.
