First you have to remove the black plate on top of the bass unit. Below that plate you will find five screws. When you have removed them you can pull up the acoustic lens unit. Be careful: You need to disconnect the wires for the tweeters. Now you can pull up the front cover. Stefan

Did you configure your BS5 as BS5 and did you get serializiation errors? If yes, delete BS5 in the config. tool and configure it as BM5. Stefan

Sorry, I don`t know what you mean by "the green lead that gives power...". I don`t think you will get the MCL2P activated by an MCL2AV. You will need a special PL cable with PIN 1 and 4 bridged. Setup should be: BM5550 -> SPEAKER2 out -> MCL wire -> MCL2AV ( -> IR Transceiver) -> Beolab speaker MCL2P has an LED which is red

Can you describe how you set it up? Cables, Beomaster....? If you have a BL 1000 press LINK - 2 - STORE. Does the LED react? Does the MCL2P you connected the MCL to work? Stefan
-
Can you activate it by pressing the mute button? Stefan

You have to connect your MCL2AV to the MCL out of your Beomaster. Powerlink on MCL2AV is an output not input. Did you connect a power suplly to the MCL2AV? Stefan

Hi, I don`t really know, because my setup is different, but maybe it`s an option problem. If your BS9000 does NOT respond to any video source - TV, DTV, V.MEM....PC- it can be your BS9000 is set to option 1. Try A.OPT 2. Stefan

Ok. In this case you will not need a Beolink Video. Just connect your LX to an MCL2 AV, which is connected to your BM6500. BM6500 Aux socket is connected to a 1611 converter, which is masterlinked to the AV9000. Stefan

Happy birthday and congratulations to your BV5 !!! Enjoy it! Stefan

An MCL2 AV is a mastercontrol link device. Would be difficult to use it in an ML system..... When you activate the AV9000 in video mode, SPEAKER 3 mode will be activated by default, but you will only get mono (center) sound. Starting AV9000 in audio mode will activate SPEAKER 2 mode, so you will get no sound. Maybe you should try V.OPT 1 and A.OPT 1
