• Re: Beolab 5000 speakers
And they are perfect! Just checked the drivers, and they look brand new almost, so maybe they have been replaced?
I don't think they have been replaced -they are just very good drivers with rubber edges - instead of those terrible foam rings they used in the CX-series and the late S-series (s-45, s-55,

  • Re: Ouverture lazer

It has been said over and over again here on Beoworld: When B&O CD-players stops working -or begin to have trouble playing CD's, it's very seldom because of a "dead" laser.
I've never seen that cover before and the owner cannot figure out how to remove it.
Wow, Martin -something You haven't seen before... I've had 2 of these 6500's (well, I still have one) -and it was (is) on both of them. I thought it was on them all. As far as I remember - the 5500 had a metal grille

  • Re: Beolink 5000: will it work with Beosound 1? what other remotes?

You should be able to use your BeoLink5000 with your Beosound 1 -IF you set the Beolink to 1-way communication. I can see you're a gold-member, so you should just download the manual for the Beolink 5000 (if it's there -I can't remember) Otherwise -I will try and find my manual, so I can tell you how... • Re: Beovision 4 - 65 replica can any one help me.

I have a "fake" BV4 -it's a Fujitsu-Siemens in my office Well -ofcourse it fools nobody, while there's a big Fujitsu-Siemens logo on it -but i'll guess the designer had seen a BV4 Anyway -interesting thread, this one. I'll not be the one to applause fake BnO...if someone pretends it's the real thing. But I must say that

  • Re: Beovision 4 - 65 replica can any one help me.

@ hilton: If you can afford 24k gold plating on your speakers and remote, then you should also be able to afford a BnO TV -or maybe that's why you can not afford a B&O...

  • Re: Wierd variations and oddities.

The 5000 system of the 80's with wood-trim was probably not just a prototype. Has anybody else noticed, that in the service manuals they show the part-numbers for cabinets with Rosewood, Teak and Oak trim..? Even the drawings shows the cabinets with wood-trim... I have never seen pictures of those systems with wood-trim in any catalogues...Nor have

  • Re: Beogram 9500 turntable platter

They're not quite the same. At least the platter on the 3300 and 5500 had a different (matte) finish.
